About the Position
As a project manager, you will represent Svenska kraftnät as a client, and your role will involve leading projects that include partial renewals of Svenska kraftnät's stations. Alternatively, you may be responsible for following up on projects carried out by other facility owners that impact Svenska kraftnät's stations.
The projects for partial renewals of stations often involve renewing some component or system in the facility for several stations in the same project. The projects can be technically complex, and activities at the facility need to be planned carefully to be executed in energized facilities.
The position entails delegated responsibility for occupational health and safety as well as electrical safety in your project.
We are an organization in transition, which means you have a great opportunity to influence your work and new ways of working. We hope that over time you will take on more complex and challenging projects, and in this role, you will work alongside competent and experienced colleagues in exciting and socially important facility projects.
You will be placed in the Network division, where we have a high pace of change and strive to develop how we conduct projects to shorten lead times and work resource-efficiently. You will belong to the Stations Project department and be placed in the AC Stations Central unit, which is one of four units that staff station projects with project managers. The unit has 14 employees and about 30 resource consultants. The unit has resources in Sundbyberg, Västerås, and Sundsvall.
About You
To thrive in the role of project manager, you need to focus on achieving results and feel confident in yourself and your skills. We want you to have the ability to handle stressful situations constructively and support your project teams through a coaching approach. Furthermore, you have a strong focus on creating and maintaining good collaborations with both internal and external colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- We want you to have a post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent. You may also have acquired relevant skills in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent. The role requires that you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in project management of technical facility or industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of substations and their components for voltage levels of at least 130 kV.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety and following up on occupational health and safety.
- Driver's license B.
